Little big of a brag this, so please forgive me.
I am not a professional musician. In fact I am barely more than a bedroom player even after a couple decades of noodling. But last year the workplace band enjoyed a resurrection and we played out our office Christmas party which was a lot of fun and very little stress.
However we were invited in August to do a gig as part of the 50th anniversary of the Australian music program Countdown. It ran from 1974 until I think 1987.
We put together a bunch of songs, found some costumes relevant to the era, and ended up putting on a half-decent show to around 600 people.
Far bigger than anything I ever expected to play in front of, but once we got started the nerves just fell away.
The DC594 took everything in its stride, comfortably sitting along side the two Fenders that others used on the night. She really cut through nicely.
There are probably some better pics and videos elsewhere, but this is all I have to share at the moment. It'll do.
