When I play seated, I can see my fretboard fine..But when I strap my guitar on and play standing I cant see any of my fretboard, just the dots on the neck.I have tried adjusting the strap to extremes but to no avail..why cant I see the fretboard whilst standing..Give it to me straight..

Is it because you have your head thrown back, basking in your rockstardom? That happens to me. Then my two year old tells me to turn down.

More belly needed.

OR, you could tape a bag of popcorn to the lower back of the guitar to act as a kickstand and move it out a bit. Plus, you'd have an on-stage snack....

Time to start practicing standing up!

I have to agree here. I had the same issue when I first started playing standing up. Now, it's mostly ALL feel. I will glance down to make sure I am rooted in the right location, but after that, it's all memory and feel.

Eat more, exercise less and develop a belly

That works with a slightly shorter strap.

If you prefer your strap longer, you just have to get really excited about the music!

Uhh when I got the Bernie Marsden model I thought it was designed for people that had his girth.... Everyone was too nice.. just say it..YOR TOO DAMN FAT DAVE!!!!
