Fractal Audio Axe-FX II XL

Fractal has a new release coming soon, the Axe-FX II XL.

Having had the Axe Ultra and Axe II I can say I do miss having one. The updates and community grow every day making these a real value. I don't remember a time when my recorded guitars were easier to assemble or sounded better.

After a massive gear purge I think I will end up with one of these as soon as I can get my hands on one from the web store and am pretty excited about it.

I've really been thinking of putting a band together and getting some an Axe FX II for amp/effect for it. That added to the fact that I'm a total gear hound and love to know what the best and newest things are I'm really excited about them.

My spot in line came around and I bought it. I returned it. Great unit no doubt, but not my thing. Tried as I might I could not get into it.

I always keep asking why a modeler has to be upgraded with newer/better technology if it's so danged perfect.

The answer of course, is obvious.
