Hi, long term PRS addict here, been playing them since 1993 when I got a CE-24. That and my 94 Les Paul standard were my main guitars for years. Since added a few guitars to the arsenal including a tasty SantanaIII in 2006.
Got the itch to add another and thinking of an ME2 that’s available. The rosewood neck is really appealing to me...any thoughts on the ME2 or should I be looking into another model? Thanks

Love my charcoal MEII. WF rosewood neck and 5708's. Maple heartwood tone machines. You will be happy!!!

Thanks. It was either the ME2 or a DGT, I prefer bigger necks and I've read the WF profile is bigger than the DGT. The Santana neck is awesome, is WF along similar lines?
I can get on with skinnier necks like the WT on my CE but a fatter neck suits my lazy thumb over the top technique better :)

Man that's a tasty piece....the one I'm looking at is the trem version. Nice amp too I might add. ,

Great guitars! Depending on your budget, you might want to look for used ME I with the Braz RW necks. Some have the 57/08s pickups versus the original RPs.

Well I missed the ME2 but did manage to get an amazing 2010 DGT. From what I've read this was the year the nitro finish changed to V12. Does anyone know when the switch was made?...the tag says March 10. Thanks.

Oh man, that is unfortunate - the switch happened on March 12. And the nitro ones are way inferior to the V12 ones. You can ship it to me for disposal - I'll even pay the shipping.

Never played the ME2 - or any ME - but the DGT is a great guitar. Very versatile, and definitely a "greater than the sum of its parts" guitar. The care and effort they put into the guitar really comes through.
