Can someone tell me what color this guitar in the link below is? I can't tell if it's dark cherry burst, violin amber burst or McCarty burst...it's a 2014 s2 custom 24...thank you!
I know it says amber burst but I dont think that's an official color name. Its beautiful!

Ask for the MODCAT code in the bridge pickup cavity. It will have the color code.

+1 on the "Unsticky" vote. Every time I come back it gets my hopes up that this could be happening, then I get bummed when I see it's only a necro-bump...

Wrong? No.

It's just that this particular thread (along with one or two others) went dormant a long time ago when it became apparent there was insufficient interest to "make it happen".

But every now and then someone posts into it, usually a new member like you, who is enthusiastic about the idea, not realizing it is now relegated to the realms of "could have been but will never be".
