While the dealer is working on what woods would be available at the price point, it's time to consider colors.

The Wood Library list of available colors is L O N G. We need to whittle it down to a representative 10 for a poll. The top 3 colors in the poll will be the available colors for the run.

Have a look at the list and then respond with a few colors from the list. We are narrowing the list down to 10 representative colors, not actually polling.

If you have no interest in this guitar, PLEASE do not suggest colors. Please don't derail this project for the few who actually might buy into this build.

Right on!! I chuckle when I see a PRS color list, but then I remember who sweet it is to have so many options. I remember with Jackson/Charvel there being some years where there were literally 5 colors available unless you went Custom Shop....

1st choice would have to be the Fire Red Burst (of course )
Anything that has predominantly a dark red - like Fire red to Grey Black, Black Cherry or even the Charcoal Cherry Burst would be acceptable compromises to a Fire Red Burst
Violet, Violet Purple Burst, Violet Smokeburst, Armando's Amethyst as a secondary choice - just as long as its NOT Blue.

If the Neck is Maple, then it must be stained Red or Purple as I don't like 'light' or natural Maple coloured necks.

I tend to buy deep 'Red' burst guitars as you can see from my PRS collection and even my Acoustic is a Wine Red Burst but would consider a 'Purple' (not more on the 'blue side of Purple) guitar for something 'different' but I won't buy a Blue guitar

Not sure what colour this is, but would love a PRS in this colour scheme too.

A mix of Red and Purple but as I don't know what this is called, I can't add that - if its available at all...

As I am UK based, if the guitar is not going to be available outside of the US, then feel free to disregard my post. If a Red or Violet/Purple isn't selected or available for the Poll, assuming I am still eligible as a UK based Forumite, could you (or others) post a Picture of a guitar in each of the available colours as an example. The PRS website doesn't show the whole guitar and certainly, a LOT of these I have never seen before.

@Mozzi , you are probably better off Googling the colours (see I spelt it right for ya [and I used "spelt" too!])

Angry Larry is a deep red with some purple in it, I suppose, for example.

Also, a question to Bill:

Most dealers when they do WL runs allow up to 5 colors, at least in my experience. Any reason considering a limit of 3?

I feel there should be a yellow - I would pick Vintage Yellow, but would be ok with another yellow.

I hate to muck up the thread, as Bill specifically asked people who are not gonna buy into this to stay out of it. However, as a PRS guy And your stylist, I have to mention that the most iconic colors, the ones that have stood the test of time, and could help make this a more special run given the limited options of "special sauce" would be Vintage Yellow, Bonni Pink, and (ugh) Faded Blue Jean.

That way you get something "classic", something "crazy", and then something "blew", while keeping sh!t undeniably PRS.
