It did require new screw holes, which I will eventually fill but they went in like a dream and I really dig 'em. Sort of like handing down family heirloom antiques...the SE One should feel more like an important member of the family (it always was, it just needed a reminder).

I just got my first PRS less than a week ago (95 CE24) and it's got those tuners. It took me a minute or two to figure them out when I was taking the strings off, but they really are both fantastic and easy to use.

Despite some of their meager shortcomings, the winged tuners were one of the innovations that attracted me to PRS in the beginning. While I understand why they've been replaced, they are still cool and charming all at the same time. Just imagine if all SEs suddenly were equipped with a winged tuner reissue. :0

Hell yeah! Like most great things in life, PRS perfected the wings in 2001, IMO, then discontinued it.
