Flat frets on a 594?

Is it normal for the frets on a 594 to be flat? They don't seem to be crowned.

Yes. I’m not sure if it’s accurate, but I read they are a flattened version of the DGT fret wire.

Yes, it is intentional. Gives it a comfortable, worn-in feel as if they're old frets that have been re-leveled and dressed.
