First time on stage

Last night I went on Stage for the first time playing with my guitar teacher's band
I have a wonderful teacher who has been extremely encouraging the whole way
I had an incredible experience and cant wait to do it again
3 days before my 65th birthday and its been the one of the best birthdays ever

I just realized, my first time playing on stage was over 50 years ago.

Mine was so long ago it's embarrassing to even mention.

So let's just say more than 50 years ago....

Retirement has allowed me to do and try things I was never able to while working and raising my sons
