First run signature series bass

Any idea how many signature basses were produced between 1986 and 1991? I have #23 which is a 1991 so I'm guessing under 40. PRS didn't keep records back then. Help me out.

Riff...sorry can't help you, but somewhere on the internet you can probably get a good estimate. I owned a couple ...and they were really cool pieces...Very pronounced highs and lows in the EQ system. Started on 4's, but now I'm stuck on 5 strings. Had a white 5 most recently, and would LOVE to get it back. If I see it again, I will make it happen. Michael Manring had one (4 fretless) on the back of one of his early CDs ...Hoping the Kestrels and Kingfishers come out in 5 soon...

Thanx Bill. I just sold a REALLY nice '88 five string which had a black burst kinda quilty top to help pay for the Signature model. Not sure how many Sigs were produced. I'll post some pics if I ever figure out how!
