First PRS NGD for...well quite some time!

I was looking at Mira S2 semi hollow but this kind of popped up on FB Marketplace for what I considered a silly price even allowing for the flaws which I may end up sending it to be refinished by PRS themselves.
But that will be in the future consideration.
Right now its going to fill a niche I had not known I needed (LOL).

It's actually a very dark Rosewood slab on the frets.
Agreed it looks like Ebony though at first glance.

Super cool. I personally love its worn in vibe. It’s lived a life and has a history. I love it when guitars have that. You don’t see it with PRS nearly enough. People are always so concerned about appearances. Let it tell you some stories before you send her off.

A real beauty of a guitar.
Of course you could ask for refurbishment by PRS PTC. It's not only because you are not the genuine owner it will be on your own expenditures, it's wear by intensive use (when it's not by time, it's by force, or perhaps both factors). It's off waranty.
Personally I would keep the wear on the guitar, and give it care by cleaning and finishing periodicly though. The wear makes it more interesting like a bright shining perfect surface. Then the guitar is supposed to be only meant for display of a collector, but not for playing. And instruments purpose is to make music.

Personally I am quite content with the well worn in appearance myself, after all playability is the most important aspect and that is a solid 11 .
It was just a thought that I might look into over time.
