First PRS Help (SE Tremonti Custom)

Need some help.

This is my first PRS purchase and I had to return the first purchase due to incorrect wiring (The first volume pot would not attenuate the correct pickup).

So I just received my 2nd (Interesting how different the neck was on this one),

When I have the 3-way in the middle position I cannot have either of my volume pots set to "0", each one has to at least be set to ~1.5 for any sound to pass through. Is this normal not be able to have one or the other completely zeroed out in the middle switch position?

I love the Zach Meyers color scheme and neck.. I'm tempted to return this one for it. Any thoughts on the tonal differences? I like the stop-tail better.

The first Tremonti I got was MF's great deal on the Cherry Sunburst.. the one which came was almost a perfect quilted match on the veneer, just beautiful. My new blue one is not quite as nice.. more tiger striped than quieted, but the neck is far better!
