Just getting back in from a trip to Hershey PA to see Phish. Man, I had forgotten how much I enjoy going to a show. I have played out a couple of times since covid hit, but this is my first time attending a show. I NEEDED this!!!

In the car in route ....

And at the risk of TMI, I ended up with, appropriately, the "Hershey Squirts" while I was there late in the first set. It was almost a disaster as the line was LONG to get in! But I made it! :D

All in all, the best time I have had in quite a while. If you can, get out there and do it!

EDIT: As a side note, every time I hear Trey Anastasio play, I don't know if it makes me want to go practice more, or QUIT altogether.:D;)

Sweet! It's been a while since I've seen Phish, they're a great band to see.

I had my first concert back last Tuesday, The Black Crowes with Dirty Honey. I was initially going to boycott it since I'm a huge fan and I didn't care for the way the Robinson brothers treated the former band members by not bringing them back, but I'm glad I went. The new band was great, and it was a solid show. Dirty Honey was also great. I needed a show!

Glad you had a great time, KB!

No shows on my schedule, yet. Pre-covid I became very "anti-crowd". I'll go see something at a 1,500 seater, but the shed and arena days are over, for me.

I'm not far from that. I have a Roger Waters arena show for 2022 on the calendar, and an Elton John stadium show for 2022. I'm still debating trying to get a refund on Waters. I suspect Elton will be my last stadium show. Other than post-baseball game concerts, I haven't been to a stadium show in 30+ years (Genesis). And I think I'm nearing the end on arena shows - had a ton in 2019 because everybody was out, but I'm being picky from here on out (and I'm talking the 15k+ arenas, not the smaller roughly <6k places). I'm considering John Mayer, but that's it right now in that vein.

Yeah, I'd make a couple of exceptions. Iron Maiden is an always go show for me. I'd rather see them at the United Center than the concert shed. I'd love to see Dead & Company (for Mayer), but they always play Wrigley Field. That's one place I am not going to see a concert at. Baseball game, sure.

As for Waters, I'd go see that one, if I were you. I went solo to that show on a Sunday when he was here in 2017. The next day they announced a 3rd show later in the week. That Sunday show was so good, I bought tix to the 3rd show and took the wife. She's not a fan of Waters, or Floyd, but she enjoyed the entertainment value of the show.

Yep..Wrigley Field Sept 2021 Dead & Co will be my first post Covid show.

My last show pre Covid was ZZ Top in 2019. D&C better kick ass!

Wrigley's not so bad if you're on the floor. Plus, its a great party atmosphere, like any game. And since I live in Lakeview East I feel obligated to go to at least one of the Dead and Co shows coming up.

Eight years ago I lived at Wilton and Waveland and we'd pull out the lawn chairs and listen to particular shows. I "saw" Roger Waters that way.

Almost definitely going. I never saw Floyd or Gilmour. And I got a seat in a row of one, so it’s a good situation.

On a work trip in WA state this week, and saw that Primus was playing an outdoor venue in Spokane tonight - 5 minutes from my hotel. Incredible show, and they played the entire Rush “A Farewell to Kings” album - a real feat! You could tell how happy they were to be out playing again, and to be playing this Rush set as well. First live show for me in almost 2 years.
