Great! I Wasn't Specifically Calling Certain People Out, I Was Simply Making A Point.Hmmm…
I saw nobody being overly critical. What I did see, and participated in, was some friendly helpful advice. And they were thankful for it and requested more.
If it's OK for John Mayer . . .!So....practice last night. My keyboard buddy whips out some headphones. Says mine look "cool" in the video and wanted the same look! Too funny. He's the best though.
… and Roger Waters.If it's OK for John Mayer . . .!
Yeah...I quickly realized that. Just turned on the camera and "kinda" forgot about it. Need to re-arrange the room to do that...and as asked... "looking for slack" being a first attempt filming practice.
However PLEASE keep up with the suggestions. I figure if people don't want to watch practices, they can scroll on by, but I'm finding more interest with the "behind the scenes" than expected. Infact the YouTube channel hopes to show more about using specific setups, how to arrange, mix...maybe even film with both people facing the camera!! lol...thanks, man!
I completely understand that. I can be overly sensitive also. What I appreciate here, is that all critiques seem to be kind, honest, and helpful. I have posted a few times, and usually those who don’t have something helpful to say, just scroll on. (I already know I’m a bit of a hack)My reluctance is mostly from not wanting "less than complimentary" band performances being seen. My fear is that people see it and don't take into consideration that it is a rehearsal where things are being worked out and it leaves a negative impression of the band. But I'm probably over sensitive to that. It's the same reason I don't like having non-band members present during rehearsals.
