Fiore Pick Guard

As far as I concern, Silver Skies are SSS only.
And a Fiore benefits of the full wooden top.
Once a pickguard is installed (with screws) your top is "destroyed" for ever with holes, which were not intended by the manufacturer.

Additionally one core requisit is, the pickups need to have the same distance among each other on both guitars.

I recommend to leave the Fiore unmodified and instead buy a SSH guitar with pickguard.

Thanks for the responses. The reason I ask, is I have ruined the finish. I live in SC and was playing outside with mosquito spray (deet) on. The more I tried to get it off, the worse it got. A pick guard wouldn’t necessarily cover everything up, there would still be a lot showing. I was just trying to distract a little from the finish I’ve ruined. I have always been a Strat player and purchased the Fiore just based on the description. Never played one till I received this one. I have fallen in love with this guitar. So, destroying the finish is just part of the story now. I asked about the guard as I found a SSH Silver Sky pick guard on reverb. Anyway, sorry for the long winded response, just a little clarity to my question. Thanks again, and God bless.

The lighter fluid won't clean it?

I assume the "damage" is limited to the surface of the top coating.
Maybe polish helps. Other than that it should be a nitro finish. This is unfortunately not a guarantee/warranty issue, therefore PRS won't repair it for free.
A trustful and skilled guitar tech/luthier could help, too.
To install a pickguard could lead to challenges due to the lengths of the axis of potis and switches.

WD Music will custom cut you a pickguard , Draw a template they will cut it
You could refinish the guitar or
Let it dry for a few days or a week then try rubbing compound and or 2-3000 grit sand paper , if the paint / stain part of the finish is still OK the respray the Nitro Clear ( Stem Mac sell it )
If it was me I think I would do a Gold or TV Yellow refinish on the body , some auto body shops will also shoot guitar bodies for reasonable prices if you don't want to try.

The NF3 body shape is closer to the Fiore than the Silver Sky.
