Fiore H vs. 85/15 pickups

Hi all

I play a CE24 with 85/15 pickups and they are phenomenal. To get more strat style sounds I got a Fiore recently. On the humbucker in the Fiore I miss the punch although they are pretty much the same in terms of resistance. Anybody out there with the same expectations?

id consider the fiore h a more tamed duncan JB. The high end is smoothed off more than youd think. The 85/15 is super articulate and bright in my experience. Resistance doesnt always tell the entire story, just the winds.

theres also the ever long debate of tone wood and the fiore pickups are body mounted which "typically" results in a better low end response. But alot of those things can be placebo'd.
