Finally using my amps again

I put a simple gigging rig together with an AXE FX II XL+. It is really a fantastic beast. In the meantime, I have been putting my amps in cases and wiring up a rack so that I can run any FX through any amp into any cab. So as you would expect, the amps have been sitting for a while.

I was pretty well used to the AXE, and I really enjoy how easy it is to fire up and play. But I finally got the wiring together for my PRS amps (3 more amps to go), and played through my Archon tonight, both through a PDI-03 into a board and small monitors and also through my Mesa 2x12.

Holy cow! What a great amp. Oh, the tone and feel I've been missing. And having played through the Axe, I wound up setting the amp to a tone that I really like, and will probably be better for gigging.

You're my hero for posting clips, I was dying of curiosity. That's my all-time favorite cab by the way, sounds amazing paired with the Archon. I could happily live in that tone-space.

I'd be happy to oblige, but I turned up the gain and removed the knob with extreme prejudice...
