FINALLY someone did it!!!! I've been saying to this for years - to do to a McCarty - but have been saying this for years!!

This isn't mine, but I found it on The Gear Page.

Would be awesome on a Mira - which really SHOULD have a Bigsby option or special run!

I'll bet it works fine. I'm still using a roller bridge on mine just in case.

Bryan Ewald, who does many demos for PRS, installed a Bigsby on one of his SE's several years ago. It looked really nice, but I'm not sure how well the stoptail bridge works when the strings are sliding across it. There is a lot of surface contact between the bridge on the strings on that design.
