Wow. At 17 I was playing a very short scale fender duo sonic, a bastardized fender amp and a music man 4x12 cab. The amp was in bad shape and the guitar was hard to play plus it wouldn't stay in tune. You are well ahead of the game sir. I only hsd a couple of years under my belt at that age too. Right on!!
