Favorite locking tuners...

What are your favorite locking tuners? I'd like to keep it around $50-60 if possible. Looking for suggestions. Thanks.

In that range, Grover 406c. You can unscrew the buttons and put the original SE buttons on them so they aren't so dinky.

A bit more than your price range, but the Graph Tech Ratio tuners do what they say they do. It takes a bit to get used to being able to fine tune your G string, but they're totally worth it. I've tried a lot of locking tuners over they years, and most are pretty similar. These stand out from the pack. Highly recommended.

I like the hip shot, but not sure about that huge backing plate. Do you happen to have. Any pics?

Those look great, but did you have to put new holes in for the screws? How did you do it without the backing plate?

I used the existing mounting holes. Hipshot offers these in different mounting configs based on hole placement but you can also use their UMP plates.
