Christmas morning I took a picture of my youngest sons guitar before I wrapped it since my sons were coming over in a few hours.
I procrastinated wrapping it as I enjoyed the heck out of it since I picked it up in October.
Total of ten guitars in the first pic.

Second pic was taken yesterday after his guitar was gone, and I had mounted another Hercules wall hanger for the SE Angelus,
Now no more guitars need be in a stand on the floor that I might trip into.
Needless to say I am now out of room on my wall for anymore mounts :D
I guess this means I am done buying guitars.
NOT!
My next guitar could very well be a blood orange Tremonti hardtail with black pickup rings.
Plus I only get out all of my guitars a few times a year when I am going to be off work for longer than a weekend.
Have sixteen days off this Christmas break, nice time to get caught up in playing the herd.
And yes, that is Nelix from Star Trek Voyager in the second picture.
Been bin watching the series on Netflix Streaming.
Saw them all originally when they came out, but I have been in a Sci-Fi mood since the new Star Wars came out.

That is one rocking manger scene Corey...way to go. If you need any advise on how to hang the maximum number of guitars on the available wall space...let me know...

Happy new year!!! Enjoy your "Play-cation"

Lookin' good!

I hate to be a downer on your thread Corey, but it's well known that the minimum acceptable amount of PRS electrics is seven. Basses, acoustics, and other brands don't count. You need to buy at least two more.

Isn't it actually 7 PRS private stocks?

Gotta +1 on this. Looks like you could hang one above the thermostat, and you'd better case the acoustic with proper humidification (which I know you do from another thread). That would give you the necessary space for those two additional electrics!

Uh-oh, then I am in big trouble, because even with The Northern Lights, I'm only gonna be at four.

Massive failure status approaching on my part. ;)

The GREAT WALL of COREY...an perfect panorama of pristine PRSes...most righteous.

Les - we still love you, even though you really need to step up your game...;)

In another year or two I may finally put together another proper music room. Looking forward to hanging my guitars someday. Much better use of space than floor stands. So far I really like the idea of mounting slat wall to the studs and then hanging the guitars on hooks at an angle, like at music stores.

Thanks guy's.
Wish this new software had a multi quote button to hit.

I thought about putting a guitar above the thermostat, but the heater is right below it, might not be good.
Also I would not locate a stud there in the wall.
But there is one facing out on the skinnier portion of the wall, but I do not want it facing out.

What I like about this time of year when I get them all out is I can take my pick at what I want to jam on for awhile without having to dig out a case.
Plus you are more motivated to play one or more when they are all out.

When I eventually move I will have a long piece of wood screwed into the studs of a wall, then stagger the mounts much like a guitar store does so I can hang more.
Plus if I put up extra mounts that are empty, it will motivate me to fill them :D

I really do want a nice adjustable hardtail SC Tremonti.
However I would get black pickup rings, and see if the neck pickup can be replaced with a black bobbin type like the bridge one.
I think all black pickups look hot with black rings (like my 408), not a super fan of chrome covered ones like my SG has.

Thanks guy's.

You can do it, but it's a little clunky. You have to hit reply on each message you want to quote. It's not exactly friendly if you have messages to quote on different pages, and it drops you to the bottom of the screen each time you hit reply, so you have to scroll up to each message.

It does do multi quote. Just hit reply in every post you want to quote. It may require some scrolling.

Here, I'll add Les and Garrett...

Kind of clunky, and time consuming.

Here is a screenshot from forum ih8mud that I use.
When you mouse over the quote button, you get the option of multi quoting.
Here is the post.

When you hit the multi link for each post, then go down to your posting window, you have the option to add all the quotes, very cool.
And, they use the same software as we do here.

Probably just an option that Jame's needs to turn on for the site.
