1st time PRS owner, I just bought a Tremonti SE model from a random electronics store as opposed to a music shop and therefore wasnt provided with a huuge amount of detail
So given the random tuning across all strings im wondering whether this model is supposed to be factory setup in E standard or D standard.
Anyone able to enlighten me?

Sounds like it was sitting for quite a while without being played. Take it to a luthier, and have it set up with new strings. Notice I said luthier, not big box chain store that has a person doing things who is inexperienced. we`re n the golden age of luthiers, so they`re everywhere. If you`re in the DMV, private message me, and I`ll tell you who I would recommend.

Thanks all, yeah its the previous model Tremonti not the current so I am guessing it had been sitting in a storeroom for quite some time, It was closer tuned to D than standard E hence the question and the quizzical look I had on my face when I got it home and put it through the pedalboard. Easier to ask than assume.

@dogrocketp all good man I've got 2 Luthiers Ive used for all my gear for years so no problems there, I think one is even a PRS warranty listed

You bought a PRS from Radio Shack?

Mind you, what it ships in isn't as relevant as what you want to play it in. Tremonti himself doesn't play E standard, per the below rig rundown from last week. The closest he and Myles get is Eb standard.
