standard spacing will work as well and would generally be of better quality and the spacing that anything that isn't labeled as a "trembucker" was designed around. Standard spacing for the neck will put the strings right over the pups and in the bridge the strings will be on the outside 3rd of the poles rather than the inside 3rd. Get short legs on whichever you get.
AFAIK, all of the SE bridge pickups from the factory are made for a 52mm string spacing. I've put a 53mm spacing bridge pickup in my SE Bernie Marsden without any trouble.
