Experience PRS 2020 Update

PRS did the right thing. I'll miss everyone, too. Oh well, this is what happens in real life!

It indeed is a bummer about the cancellation and I was very much looking forward to going but definitely understandable in light of all this craziness. If anything, I definitely respect Paul and Co. for having everyone's welfare in mind for making this decision and that only makes me respect him and his company even more.

On a lighter note, my Signature Club membership is about due for renewal so when I do, I will have to make it known that I now wear a much smaller shirt lol

I was thinking I could invite everyone to my house instead, but I don't think I could accommodate thousands.

I purchased a bottle of Octomore for a repeat of the shenanigans after Exp 2018. I guess I'll have to drink it by myself. Since my accommodations are non-refundable, I have another reason to drink. I may just go there and sit on the curb with my bottle and cry.
Of course it was the right decision, given the international travelers.

Thanks for letting us know. I hope everyone finds another way to make some memories this May. And, remember that if you are feeling blue JFB is here for you.

On a more fun note. I had just sent Shawn the forum shirt design for approval this morning before the news went live. I like to make sure we have the appropriate blessing and we aren't at risk of interfering with the staff shirts. Perhaps we can still do the shirt and once everyone has theirs we can build a group photo from individual submissions. It would be like the Signature Club photo we take at the beginning of the event.

I have shipped the shirts before and am happy to provide this service again if it's something the forum family thinks would be fun. I would still want to get approval to do this, but I don't expect any issues given the circumstances. It's about time we did something fun as a group!
