Experience Ltd 2016 - Custom 24-08

Are they also set up like the 408s such that there isn't a huge level differential when you split the coils?

Oh crap! This is what I've been wanting. I'm a dead man....IF I can even find one available...

WANT that copperhead model!

Good question, I don't know much about the multi-tap system, but there is some info in the PRS book (Google "PRS multitap") which suggests each pickup has a tap wire which allows for some different voicings.

This is also up on the PRS site:

Thanks for posting that link. Yeah, it's gotta be, they're specifying the pickups as '85/15 Multi-tap Treble' as opposed to just '85/15 Treble' as they are shown elsewhere.

I just watched this video again:

Yeah, want. That combination (3-way blade with two mini-toggles) might be the best combination of simplicity and flexibility for me. Might have to revisit the 5-way blade before I show up tomorrow, but it's the middle of the night here, don't want to bother the neighbors.

Must....restrain...fists...of....dollars....

I've been convinced for a while that the only thing PRS that I need is a set of 85/15's; there is no reason to get a guitare just for the pickups.... until now...

Damn, that configuration is rather inviting...
