Experience 2013 Question

I understand that there isn't a specific schedule of events yet for Experience 2013 but I have a question for those of you that have attended in the past. How late in the day on Saturday did the events go? I'm trying to determine what my travel plans might look like. In the perfect world I would like to head for home on Saturday night but I don't want to miss anything big. My guess is I'll need to finalize my travel plans before I know what's going on. If anyone can share how the schedule of events went in previous years, I'd be most grateful.

Another thing I'm curious about is how one goes about buying a guitar there. I'm not expecting to bring one home with me but I could see "securing the rights" to one. Thanks.

I looked at last year's event schedule. The final show reads 5:15-7:30 PM. I swear it went till quite a bit later though. I'd travel home Sunday if possible.

Thanks for the info. Is the schedule posted somewhere or did you just still have it from last year? I have no issue staying until Sunday although leaving on Saturday would save a little cash. The timing of this event doesn't normally work well for me so this might be my only chance to attend. I don't want to miss anything.

I think by like 830 everyone was heading out on Sat last year, was not that late. Depending on how far your commute is that might not be too late. I drove six hours from Connecticut so I stay over Saturday night and get a fresh start Sunday.

As the others said, everyone is usually heading out around 8:30-ish on Saturday night.

If you're interesting in purchasing a guitar, find your dealer, or a dealer and negotiate the price. The last few years have allowed folks to walk home with guitars and I imagine it will be the same for this year.

Thursday is only the signature club event at night. Friday and Saturday are big, full day events in their own right - nothing separates them generally besides the closing preformance on Sunday which is usually "the big finale". Other than that, its typical demos, clinics and preformances throughout both days.
