Experience 2013 Query

Hi all;

I know it's a little late but i'm trying to find a way to swing a trip to Experience this year. I'm sure this has been asked countless times but I can't seem to find the info.
What airport do I fly into?
I won't be able to rent a car, so i'm wondering what the closest hotel is and if there is a (cheap) way to get from the airport to the site.

BWI Airport is the closest. I don't know about hotels.

BWI is the closest airport. If I were you, I'd call around to local hotels and ask them if they offer a shuttle to BWI as I know a lot do. The question is going to be how are you going to get to the factory from your hotel? Most guys here stay in Anapolis which is about 15 minutes away. Even the ones on Kent Island are a little distance from the factory.

I would guess hooking up for a ride to the event from the hotel would be easy enough, I am always down for filling my passenger seat.

I'm registered, but still trying to finalize plans. What hotel is actually the closest? Looks like the one on Kent Island, but I've never been to "Experience" before, so I'm not sure. Any advice would be much appreciated!

The ones on Kent Island are certainly closer that those in Annapolis. But, they tend to book up very early, and some of them aren't the greatest...

We thought about moving to the HGI on Kent Island last year but it's a lot more expensive. Getting everyone to make that move would be a tough sell and I'm all about keeping the gang together.

So far, the HGI in Annapolis has the best lobby party - 5 years running.

I stay at O'Callaghan's when I visit the factory. I wonder now if that's the best plan. It's certainly close to my favorite places to eat. :biggrin:

O'Callaghan is great. We've had some great parties there as well.

I'm all for a good lobby party. Must be why I picked that hotel.
