Now that I have your attention , c'mon PRS, do it! I want an ebony top Zach Myers bad!
You guys got the Rosewood topped SEs... we did not.
I did snag an ebony baritone though, and it's pretty hawt.
I don't remember those, will have to Google later!
Sweetwater had/has them. Not sure about any other retailers.
C'mon, stay focused on the 594, bro. Unless, of course, you decide you need a Santana.....(you do!)
I'll save you the time -
Looks like they have done another run, expected in a couple weeks.
Worth noting that the description for it (and the exotic run in the UK) is a little misleading - there is a rosewood veneer but it's on a maple top, rather than being a fully-rosewood top. Still looks cool though!
The Sweetwater rosewood top is different from the Europe exotics. The Europe models do have the maple top with a veneer, but the Sweetwater version is a veneer on top of a solid mahogany body, no maple.
Yeah, I'm just not a CU24 guy. I'm really only into the look. The veneer is fine by me.
As far as a SC594, I spec'd one out. Need to see the price. I passed on one that was the bomb in terms of wood library.
A 24.5" scale semi hollow SE would be useful for me though.
Ah, interesting, thanks for the clarification.
I just ordered a 245 ebony. NGD post in a few days
The one you ordered looks AWESOME! That's what got this thread going.
I do not remember posting photos of the one I ordered, I posted the one I could have ordered but I found this one and loved her more.
Gotcha, I misunderstood. Looks killer!
