Ever wonder how PRS leather straps are made?

I don't have any PRS straps, but all my straps are Levi's, lol. I lost one though, so I might have to buy a couple of the PRS straps :)

Ironically, PRS is closing out the Levy's straps, and no longer listing them as regular items on the PRS store site.

Good thing I've already got all my PRS straps, even the paisley one to match my Paul's case. Whew....!

Does this mean I can't buy any more PRSi? Please say it ain't so.

No, but I sometimes take the time out to study the design & engineering of various other leather straps.

They're still offering straps, just not the Levy's ones.

When I first got my McCarty, I ran a simple black leather strap, but it was too long and uncomfortable and with a PRS, you don't have a bunch of strap hanging off the back, it's like a tux with flip flops or Rubba Slippas as I know them..;-) I geeked out and bought a burgundy croc PRS strap with the eagle medallions on it. It is really nice, if a bit geekoid. But it makes that expensive guitar look even more expensive..at least to me. To others, it might look trailer park, but so what? My wallet, my tastelessness...;-)
And all I can say after seeing that vid is "Oh, the bovinity"!!

You guys are welcome.
I enjoy seeing how stuff is made.

On a sidenote, Alice Cooper's latest guitarist Nita Straus just replied to me on her Facebook feed about an upcoming video they just made at Andertons, that made my morning :)
