Just seen the cover of the latest Acoustic Guitar mag. Emmylou and Rodney.
Rodney kinda looks like a cadaver but Emmy looks Marvelous ... to quote Billy Crystal.
I know that she has had some cosmetic surgery, but ****, she's 67 years old, still the best lookin' woman I've ever seen.

I was privileged back in the late '70s and early '80s to meet her several times.
Even got a chance to play some old country music with her and my buddy.

In every way, she is an Angel here on Earth.
'nuff said.

Gram's daughter Polly is one of my dearest friends on the planet. My username is actually a nod to her husbands work...

Yeah man, I've known her husband Charlie for many many years.. He does the video production work for a lot of HUGE bands. They also own and run a couple of sober houses in Austin called Hickory Wind Ranch.

I'll post up some cool pics when I get home tonight. Polly is a goddess...

Emmylou is the real deal. Great soulful vocals, strong rhythm guitar player, and she looks incredible. I suspect that she's got a portrait in her attic that keeps aging--she doesn't seem to! It was always a dream of mine to play in her band--I never have, but I love her style of country music, and she always has great players. I saw her back in the '80's at the county fair in Napa, CA, with the Hot Band (Frank Reckard on guitar)--one of the best bands I've ever seen.

My wife and I went to the Emmylou and Rodney concert here in Huntington, NY a few months ago. I'm glad I got to see her perform, had meant to a million times before. She's great. Also so a concert on TV with her and Mumford and sons, actually really cool. I love all her works but I tend to listen to her album with Mark Knopfler a lot...
