I may be alone in saying this, but..... I love EMG's I recently borrowed my brothers Paul Allende and I loved it. They may not be great at much other than high gain thrash metal stuff (or at least I coundnt get many other decent tones out of them) but for thrash metal style tones they were brilliant. Personally in the red in that black guitar they look the nuts too!!

EMG makes passive pickups which are excellent and use the quick connect system. I'm thinking of putting them in another guitar.
