Anyone tried the Emerson Custom prewired control kit as an upgrade? I have an S2 Singlecut and am just curious.

Probably a good call for an S2 if you're not very good with soldering. Otherwise, the only weakness I find in the S2 electronics is the volume pots.

I did install one of these Emerson kits on a bass guitar along with new pickups for a friend. The kit seemed pretty good quality.
