Im looking for my second PRS in a year, and at the moment all i am seeing pop up is PRS guitars for around the $2,000 mark that are beautiful instruments. However they say there is no 1 year manufacturers warranty or some other small issue. Yes i see there being PRS SCs out there from 2012 with chips or non original cases, but these are explained. But its the new NF3s for $1,800 that im looking at as prime examples for instance.

My first question is this: How can they be so cheap? - Warped Neck? - Electronics Issues? - Loss of case candy?

My next question is this: Are they worth buying? As if i can bag a decent bargain ill do so. If not ill wait off till i do have enough money to get a 408 or a Studio.

Thanks in Advance.

If you find something you like, ask the seller lots of questions. Ask particularly about an inspection/return policy.

If you make a deal or win an auction, never, ever pay by Western Union, money order or any other cash equivalent.

Paypal sucks, but that and credit cards offer the best protection agains fraud listings.

Probably dealers pushing them out because they are no longer stocked models. Guitar Centers around me were BLOWING out last years models at crazy discounts. My rule of thumb is if they don't have decent pictures that aren't stock photos it's a no go.
