I listen to a lot of music on my MP3 system and have gone thru a lot of high-end earbuds. Ultimate Ears, Shure, Westone, Bowers&Wilkerson, Bose and have never been happy with the quality of the sound for the $$$ expended, so I've always taken them back.
Last week I ordered a set of Denon, Music Maniac AH-C250. Man, these are fabulous. Crystal clear highs, perfect mids and deep lows with no distortion or chattering. Reasonably priced also. I paid $279 in Canada, could likely take $50 off in the States. I bought them online based on faith. Glad I did.
So if you're in the market for some new earbuds or tired of your present ones, give them an audition.

I have been happy with the V-Moda buds. The 3 sets of different sized silicone in-ear pieces makes a comfortable fit.
