Dressed-up Daisy day

OK, so obviously if you're not aware of my love for Velas you're either new here or you have me on ignore

Daisy was my first, and I freaking love this guitar. However, I have never been a fan of all black guitars - it's just not my thing. So why did I buy one? Because I couldn't find a Vela locally to try out, and because this one was used at a price so low I knew I could sell and perhaps even make a slight profit if we didn't get along. Or, I figured if I DID like the guitar, I could flip her for another color.

Well, we got along fantastically, and she's awesome, and there's no way I was going to flip her for a different color.

What to do, then? I added the Ankh sticker. That helped. Something was still missing...

As much as I don't like all black guitars, I REALLY REALLY don't like black guitars with white pickguards. So, white and pearloid were right out.

Tort to the rescue!!!!!

I approve! I did the same thing to my Reclaimed Vela. The tort guard, not the Ankh

I may have to go Tort with Melinda as well...I held the guard up and it looked awfully good.

In my case with my S2s, they've been named after the 4 main female characters in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - yeah, I'm a big geek.

Daisy (Johnson) - Black Vela
(Jemma) Simmons - Blue Vela
Bobbi (Morse) - CU22
Melinda (May) - Green Vela.
