Dragon II …. In an SE?

Super helpful thanks guys, I’m tempted again now to try myself but given the experience with the store this far also not keen on giving them money

Lower the DII bridge pickup on the guitar a decent amount and adjust the pole pieces appropriately. That DII will knock your socks off. I find it to be a bridge pickup dying for a lowering and pole piece adjustment!

It was meh before I did that normal setup routine for me with all pickups, adjust height, then pole pieces!

Gotta find that Sweet Spot!!!
Well that’s good to know,! Many thanks :D

Well just finished up, couple high frets still there slightly so another file and polish done, locking se tuners installed, resoldered what they broke and cleaned another solder up and added a core nut, gotta say it’s singing!

I bought a used SE CU24 with a set of 58/15 LTs in it and it sounds better than my 10th anniversary S2 with the same set!

I say do it, just never expect to get money back if you sell it equipped like that. Either keep it or switch back to stock before the sale.

@Glide-bpm . I took your advise and lowered the bridge D2 pickup and you were totally right.. it truly sounds great now…thanks again :D 🕵️‍♂️
No problem! I mean, you could have hated it which would have probably meant you needed to go on the high side. :)

Always glad to help!

I've found that I run all of my bridge pickups lower than the average person. Most people never try to raise/lower them. Pole piece adjustments are probably even more rare for the average guitarist.
