Dragon 1 Set in a Superstrat

Hey hey!

A bit of an oddball question, but I'm wondering if anyone here has used Dragon I's in a non-PRS guitar - specifically, a Superstrat style. I know the Dragons were built for the Custom 22. I picked up a set for a decent deal, in the hopes of eventually landing a PRS guitar to put them in. But I've been thinking, it could be worth trying them in this guitar (a Balaguer) I have lying around.

I know they're higher output, clear, and somewhat warm. In my mind, that should be a good recipe for this type of guitar. I'm just curious if anyone's actually tried this out.

If it helps - this guitar is mostly used for a 00s punk cover band.

I’m sure some have. I personally love the D1’s in 24 fret PRS’. I have a set in my Standard 24

True. I mean, I'm planning on it either way. I won't know how I feel about it till I personally try. Just wondering if anyone else has given it a whirl. I've really only ever known if Dragons in a PRS.
