Download 2014 festival - lots of PRSi (sorry if old news)

This relates to a festival from a couple of years back, but I didn't see any old threads on it. Sorry if I'm being obvious. "Old news is exciting!"

Last night we were watching highlights from the Download 2014 festival on MTV Live (used be called Palladia), and saw three bands in short span using PRSi:

Linkin Park
Richie Sambora (Orianthi)
Tremonti

We both agreed that if anyone watching was not familiar with PRS, well, they should have had their interest piqued!

I have to admit I didn't know the Linkin Park guitarists were PRS artists. I knew about Orianthi and Tremonti, obviously...

The playing was very nice too, Orianthi did a really nice blazing guitar solo duet with Sambora.

Anyway, my fiancee said something along the lines of "yeah, those PRS guitars really are great! You should get some!" (tongue in cheek, of course, she is well aware of my collection, even bought me one), so I responded with "Great idea! Let me go browse online!" Not so tongue in cheek...
 
Been watching Summer Download now since about 2012, they have a lotta great bands on it.
And I certainly hope MTV does not mess with the programming that Palladia use to have, even though it has been owned by MTV for quite some time.
That is all we need is too see Justin Beiber on there.

Bizarre. I was totally watching that last night too, and went down a Googly rabbit hole of Linkin Park PRS.

Palladia (MTV Live is a dumb name) is what I flip on when I have to crank thru a bunch of mindless slides and JIRA tickets...

Hah! Exactly, on all points! I did the same thing with Googling the artists/bands and associations with PRS.
