Doug Diamond from Wild west guitars.

Speaking of DFD, is he still with Wild West? I have been out of the game for a years , but was just curious as it may be time for a new axe.
 
I live fairly close to Wildcat Guitars and was immensely impressed with everybody there when I visited last year, just before lockdown. I went in with a Fender Strat - bought elsewhere but I was referred to them for warranty work - and left knowing that when I am ready to order a Custom Shop Strat, that it will be through them. Of course, I am also jonesing for a Paul’s Guitar so hope they get one in that I like in the time being. They were all incredibly generous with their time with zero pressure applied.

I was in the LA area in July and decided to drive all the way down to Escondido, CA to finally meet Doug in person and visit the shop.
I ended up leaving with a Private Stock MEV but that's another story...
