Guys, does this look legit?

https://bham.craigslist.org/msg/6104954992.html

I just so happen to have 2 SE guitars, but something doesn't seem right to me. One of those "too good to be true" things... The fact that there is no location and only 1 picture seems odd to me, but this will probably be my only chance to get into a USA made PRS so my GAS meter is blowing up right now.

The picture looks legit. Looks like one of the newer CEs. Price is pretty low for what I would expect but maybe he's hard up for cash?

Worth replying to for sure. Would be a great deal on a new-ish CE.

However, to keep your GAS in check: $1200 will give you plenty of chances to get into a USA PRS. Take your pick of used (or some new!) S2 guitars, or a little patience will reward you with an older Core model.

Thanks guys! I think I'll make contact and see what's what.

Very true.

Looks good - square bobbin pickups are a pretty good way to tell, hard to fake those because PRS is about the only company making them that way right now.

+1

I regularly check Reverb in the $700-1200 range (what I can justifiably afford-ish) and there are always Core guitars. Not that I have any experience with the new CE's but... Modern CE money can totes buy you a Core model.
