Do you use wall mount or guitar stand?

Stands and cases here. I've been thinking of wall mounting but never have gotten around to it probably because I have a fear of having a guitar falling off the wall mount...silly, I know.

I just ordered this Zither. Found one made from curly purpleheart (stock photo-no curl).

I figured you'd be the Claro Walnut with Ebony inlay, book matched base, kinda person who'd get one of these Take A Stand items:

I might have to get one to have something to hang a guitar on during session breaks...hmmm...

Makes my $200 Zither stand seem inexpensive. :eek:o_O

Purpleheart, schmurpleheart, I'm not seeing inlays!

The expectations for you, The Man, require inlays. I'm not getting on board with this without some inlays.

Hahahahaha! Punny guy, Les. :D

Ya know, while I certainly like ‘em, inlays aren’t really my thang. Most of my PSs have only a single inlay on the 11-13th frets.

It's hard to pass on a good pun. ;)

So...gloss finish or satin finish? I know your usual preference is for gloss.

Somebody has to do it.

And that doesn’t include the wall behind the camera or the other room.

My jammin" space in the new house has amps, a drum set, a bar and a gun safe. But unlike the last house, the space is too small to hang guitars on the wall as I would prefer. Not a problem I suppose. I prefer to hang them on the wall but for now they in their cases and stored elsewhere.

I’d like to get my guitars back on the wall, but this house has too much variability in temp and humidity. Likely need a sealed cabinet with UV glass, but no budget.

My prior house during better times

Three of these guitars had to be sold to pay bills. Better luck next time?
