Do you think anything new will be coming with NAMM coming up?

They recently announced a few new SEs and upgraded to S2 electronics but I'd love to see more 22 fret bolt ons with HBs and some new S2s....what is everyone's thoughts??

In November of 2014, PRS announced their 30th anniversary models. In October of 2019, PRS introduced their 35th anniversary models. In November of 2024, PRS announced their 40th anniversary models.

I suspect there’ll be some limited edition shot glasses and a t-shirt or two added in the Accessories Store.

I was told they are not doing NAMM this year. From what I hear, there will be releases throughout the year to keep the excitement of the 40th going. No new equipment was mentioned, but a lot of special editions. Possibly two per month?

I like the idea of a 40th Santana. Or, maybe the final release of Tremonti’s abstract shaped guitar. I’d be down for either.

PRS hasn't really stuck to the NAMM once-a-year product launch schedule for some time. Why release products when everyone else is launching stuff, and you have to fight to get media attention? Launch in the quiet in-between times, and you have no competition for attention.

I wonder if something will happen with the Silver Sky, like a facelift or MkII version? Most of the main dealers here in the U.K. aren’t carrying much/any stock of the US SS at present (for the first time since launch) with the exception of one large dealer who seemingly got a consignment of circa 30 plus US models in H2 last year (a range of colours with maple/rosewood choice in each) and are advertising them at £1,999 (circa £800 under the RRP). Just makes me wonder if something is in the pipeline?

But no new amps. I'm out of wall.
When they ran out of real estate in Manhattan, they didn't stop building - they simply built taller buildings. Think that way!

If you can't go wide, go tall!

Put the heads in a rack of shelves, stack a few smaller cabs on top of larger ones, and there you are - amp skyscraper!

I would do this myself, but I can't find a shelf unit that satisfies both my aesthetic and strength needs, and I'm past the point of building my own. Anyway, it's a lot cheaper and less messy than installing a new wall.
