Do you own both a mahogany AND a maple neck 594?

If you own both a mahogany and a maple-necked 594, how differently do they sound? Are the differences subtle or pronounced? What do you like most about each? Thanks for the info!

I've had both, as well as identical maple and mahogany neck McCartys.

I felt the maple neck models had a more "flutey" or "breathy" tone, especially in the neck pickup, emphasizing the harmonic content as opposed to the fundamental, while the mahogany neck model had a bit more low mid girth.

These differences were VERY subtle.

I'd be happy either way.
