Do Wood Library guitars intentionally get nicer abalone used on the inlays?

Was just looking at my 2 Wood Library Custom 24s today, and noticed that they have much nicer and more consistent looking abalone used for their inlays than my 3 non-WL CU24s. Started wondering if PRS intentionally pick out some of the better abalone they have available when making WL guitars, or if it's just a coincidence with the guitars I happen to own. Anyone else notice this, or ever seen PRS say this in a release or something?

I think it depends on what the dealer specs for inlays. I love the inlays Brian’s guitars did on my 24-08.

Not always. My WL was part of a limited run that went to a number of different dealers, so unless they all collaborated on it, which I very much doubt, then PRS decided on the inlays.

Wood library is above an artist grade so I would think all the appointments would also be upgraded as well. Doesn't make sense to have an exceptional top and non ten top inlays or fret board for that matter.

Thanks all for the feedback. It totally makes sense that WL would get the nicest appointments (whether selected by PRS or the dealer), just wasn't sure if that had ever been confirmed somewhere.
