Do standard single coils fit NF3 pickguard?

Hey folks. I was thinking about swapping out the middle and neck NF3 pickups in my NF3. I have a few Dimarzios on hand and just by eyeballing it, it looks like they won't fit the NF3 cutout. I know the poles don't line up either. Anybody here know if standard single coils or any other single coils sized pickups fit the NF3?

There is nothing that I don't like about them for being a mini humbucker. However, I would like a middle and neck pickup with more highs to make the guitar more pleasing to my ear in the 2-5 positions. If I didn't love the feel of this guitar so much I would sell it but I can't bring myself to do that, it really is an amazing instrument. I can sit for long periods playing it without being plugged in, just feels good.

They would work fine; just need to order a custom pickguard.

That stinks! Maybe if I try a shoe horn to squeeze them in?!

I suppose maybe you could body mount them? Custom guards don't cost all that much. Maybe fifty bucks.

maybe you could look for a loaded dc3 pickguard? I would think they are interchangeable, but don't know for sure. I owned a dc3 before and you will definitely get some highs - in fact I found i a bit shrill, so I brought it back and got an NF3! I guess that's why they make all those different models I agree with you about the feel and the acoustic sound of it - it is great.

Yeah, I have found a few DC3 loaded pickguards recently but they are very spendy(I am cheap). I may just have to make one. Oh well, add this to the project list!
