Hello all,
I'm away from home on a trip for work and don't have my PRS Book for reference. I'm wondering what the different specs are for the various Artist Series guitars. This is strictly from memory, so PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. But are these the correct specs?
Artist 1 - Basically a really nice Custom 24 with a Wide-Fat neck and Artist pickups, with trem, Tune-O-Matic, and semi hollow options?
Artist II - Basically a really nice Custom 22 with wood purfling and Artist pickups and 5-way rotary knob.
Artist III - Basically the same as Artist II, but with abalone purfling? Artist pickups and 5-way rotary knob.
Artist IV - Basically a really nice McCarty with etched gold Birds and gold purfling? McCarty pickups and electronics.
Artist Limited - Basically another Artist 2/3, but with gold Birds? Artist pickups and 5-way rotary knob.
10th Anniversary - Another really nice McCarty, but with an ebony fretboard, etched gold Birds, and abalone purfling? McCarty pickups and electronics.
Do these seem like accurate, if simple, generalizations?
