i just moved and havent seen my guitars in nigh on 5 weeks. today it felt like NGD times 31!
did you ever move and then unpacking feels like NGD?

I've had a similar conversation with myself. When I'm trying to talk myself out of a new purchase, I'll say, "Steve, old sport, open one of those cases you haven't opened for awhile and pretend it's a NGD." Of course having dementia helps.

I hear ya. Just in a "what's the point" mood. Plus, I like to play when no one is home (cuz I should be working!). Since the Mrs retired, she's put a little damper on my routine. I'll get over it......or sell everything

I’ve been overseas nearly 7 years. I feel that way every time I go home, pull them out of storage, and check them for any issues.

Oh, I’m over the whole don’t wanna play if someone is home thing, my wife never leaves now.
I used to do that just not to bother anyone, but since everyone is constantly up my butt I’m getting my revenge.

The problem is I used to play when she was at work. You know, when I was supposed to be working, too. Now if I play during the day I'll get the "aren't you supposed to be working" comment.

Last week I worked from home one day, and when my wife got home at 4:00 I was out mowing up leaves. She knew though, that I was just trying to use what daylight I had, and of course I was back on the computer working at 6:30 when I got in. Besides, labor laws dictate 2 15 minute breaks for 4 hours, and one our for lunch/jamming.
