Tone Matters. Use It Well.
Just though to let you folks know of a recent DHL Express fraud that is making its way through the phone system.
When you pick up and say "Hello," a robo-voice responds with "This is DHL Express. We are trying to deliver a package to you but have been unable to do so...etc. We will now transfer you to the Chinese DHL Express division for further information."
Knowing that nothing had been ordered via DHL, I hung up and called the DHL Express "Attempted Delivery" line from their website and asked what's up?
DHL confirmed that fraudulent DHL Express calls had been reported by their clients and that is it wise to flag and block such phone numbers from your phone.
I'd also reported the fraudulent number to my phone blocking app so they can add the number to their database of scam callers.
