I think prs hit a home run with the dgt. Love the tone out of mine and love the feel. I never played one but ordered mine unseen. Got very lucky that I bonded with it ,right from the start. I use my mostly for metal however it can do just about any genre.

When I play it through my hughes and kettner, I often think hetfield tone without emg's

This is Emma, she used to be my DGT Standard in Frost Blue Metallic... I miss this guitar like crazy.

I'm hoping a 2014 DGT in Violet will ease that particular GAS pain much sooner than later this year...
