DGT with maple neck and fingerboard

Hi everybody,
I'm on the market for a DGT and I have found a 2013 artist package with flame maple neck and fingerboard, what do you think about this wood on this model?

I think that would be killer. I LOVE PRSes maple necks.

All my PRS have maple necks and one has a maple fretboard as well, I’m definitely a fan of the snap and high end sparkle they bring, love the satin finish too.

In 2013 the finish was V12, this example has a satin neck.
Is it better to buy a new model with nitro finish?

I’m scared to play a DGT... or DG amp. I know I’d end up buying them.

If I could find one with a satin maple neck/board or torrified and a stoptail, it’d be my next guitar. That doesn’t exist, so I’m looking at other options.

We all know the coil tapped tones are great on the DGT. Probably even better with the maple.
